Prenup Location Ocular - Pan de Amerikana

Here's another prenup location included in the list given by our Coordinator, Cathy Ebuen. This place is located in Marikina. We decided to visit the place because our options for our prenup is within Metro Manila only.

This place is a restaurant with bakery inside. The giant chess board is the trademark for this venue. When we saw the place, we really got disappointed. Niño even said " Ayaw ko dito! ang liit pala nito" which is actually very true. This may looks photogenic and big in cam but really not in real.

I also didn't like the food they served. I ordered for spaghetti and corned beef pandesal while Niño chose embutido with rice because he hasn't eat his lunch yet. I was so disappointed specially with the pandesal. The corned beef is so "malansa"!I just tasted it and left almost all of it. The spaghetti however is okay for kids taste because it is sweet.

The place also has a ruin wall which looks like a greecian wall but this is just good as backdrop since the size is not really big. The view outside however is good.

See our photos below :

This is how we saw this Grecian wall in our table while eating

This reminds me of the Birth Tree milk.. ^-^

Bridal Car

We were both decided that we will get Studebaker for our bridal car. When we inquired with Don Roberts Bridal Car, it is no longer available so we researched for other car rentals offering vintage cars. We noticed that all of them are not available on December 6. Niño said that maybe there is only one  Studebaker...that the rental for this vintage car comes from one seller only.

Our next option is the Cadillac but its beyond our budget so we look for other vintage models. We noticed that the Benz 1946 is also a nice one. We inquired to JCA Bridal Cars and ask if it is still available. Luckily it is and the price is 9,000 less 500 discount.

We found out with Ms. Tess, our contact person in JCA that they are the direct rental of vintage bridal cars. She told us that the Studebaker is only one in the wedding industry including other vintage cars like Cadillac. Those cars comes directly from them. Don Roberts is one of their seller.

Here are the photos of our Bridal Car:

Bridal Shop for the wedding gown

Among the shops in 168 Mall, Queenie Elizabeth Boutique gave us the lowest quotation for my gown design. We've checked the inside stitches of their gown on display and it is clean. I have tried their gowns. All of them are a lot bigger to me so they just pinned the back part. My first love really for a gown is actually pure white but when i tried their white gown, i switched to mocha (the last picture in this post). Queenie (the girl in a long sleeve blouse in the first photo) quoted us 25,000 for my beaded gown. I told her i want to add swarovski so she added 1,500 and we agreed on it. A total of 26,500 for my wedding gown. I just hope they can make the design i gave her...

Please see photos below in Queenie Elizabeth Shop.

I choose the upper design of this gown. I think it blend with my skin tone.

I can't remember exactly the price of this gown. I think it's 25k or 27k. The material is organza

Our Wedding Singer - The Sentimental Groove

The first time i heard this band was last year during our food tasting with Hizons in One Esplanade. Ms. Kate Banawa, wife of Ian Banawa. They are the owner of this band, talked to us and offered us their discounted rates during the food tasting. Their female vocalist caught my attention because of her beautiful voice. Though it's quite loud, i like how she sang the songs. I asked Ms. Kate the name of their vocalist and she said it's Jonah. I marked it in my mind so if in case in the future, i can remember her name and i will get Jonah as my singer. I told Niño that i like her but Niño said that we should book our major suppliers first before getting a band for our wedding and I agreed.

Early this year since we are almost complete with our suppliers, I ask Niño again about the Sentimental Groove. He agreed as long as the budget is only 15k. When I checked Sentimental Groove's website, their for the requirement that i want is 25k so i looked for other bands which are just right our budget.

When I again checked their website, I saw that they had a promo about 12k rates. I called them and ask if I can still avail that promo. Sir Ian is so kind that he allowed me to use that discounted rates even the promo has already ended.

We booked for 2 singers (male and female) with percussion for 12k. We added two instruments, the acoustic guitar and violin making it a 16k all in all. We paid a deposit of 5k and the remaining is on the wedding day.

Take time to view their sample songs.
