Seach for the Church Part 2

Church of The Holy Trinity
48 Mckinley Road Forbes Park, Makati
(02) 817 9440

This church is near Sanctuario de San Antonio but the location is not as obvious like Sanctuario. It’s not Catholic Church but according to the guard we were able to ask during our visit, they allow catholic wedding but you need to bring your own priest. We didn’t ask much about it after what the guard told us kasi wala kaming kakilalang pari na papayag dalhin sya dun sa church for our wedding. We didn’t like that set up.

We weren’t able to get inside because it’s close during our visit. The office is open during weekdays only.

This is how the church looks like.

Another church ocular is the St. John Bosco in Makati. I like the center of the altar (ganda ng dating sa pictures).  Whenever you see photos with this altar, you already know what church is in the picture. The church is with air-condition and with small garden. It doesn’t meet my criteria because the main door for my entrance is made of glass. I want it to be wooden or steel ‘cause I want them to see me only when the gate opens. In this church, they can immediately see me. The ceiling is also not so high.

This is the first church mentioned to me by Nickyz and asked me if I want this church. I remember that this is also the first church we visited after he proposed to me.

At first I really know nothing about it; he said that it’s where Roxanne Guinoo got married daw. I’ve made some researches pa and I found out that Kyla got married also in this church. I’ve checked their SDE and it’s so touching, it matched with the song “Beautiful Days” by herself.

According to the church’s website the schedule that we want to have for our wedding is exclusive for parishioners only. Non-parishioners are allowed but the slots are limited, weekend afternoon schedule are for parishioners while weekdays are for non-parishioners. Aside from that, they have so many restrictions like throwing of petals outside the church is not allowed, proper dress code for female (tube and spaghetti strap is not allowed..So sad ‘cause I want sweetheart styled gown), wedding papers must be submitted as stated in their wedding requirements guidelines, if not, no wedding daw according to Ms. Susan. Speaking of Ms. Susan, I found her kinda masungit when I called this church. I was asking so much about wedding requirements, guidelines and so on but she replied to me to first check out their website. I was kinda inis na that time kasi I was already talking to her and then she’s gonna say check their website!!Duh! I told Nickyz tuloy that I don’t want to inquire anymore in that church kasi masungit yung contact person. When we personally meet her during our ocular, Nickyz said that she’s nice naman daw, though medyo strict parin sya in person.

The wedding fee for non-parishioner like me is higher compared to those residents of Forbes. For other details you may just visit their website.

But anyway, this church fits all the criteria I was looking for a church like the location, ample parking slots, high ceiling and long aisle. I once told Nickyz that I don’t like this much ‘cause it’s so cold. I was already imagining myself wearing a tube gown na lamig na lamig…

I wasn't able to took photos so these are grabbed from google.

When we were decided where we would want our reception to be held, we decided to book Magallanes Church but surprisingly, our chosen date is no longer available. I even asked the lady on the phone to triple check the date but she said that its confirmed kasi bayad na daw!Huuahhh…pano na yan! Hanap na naman kami ng church… I was already convinced in Magallanes Church. Nickyz said that maybe it wasn’t for us.  That is one attitude of him that I like, he is patient and he inspired me to be more patient in looking for our church. He said that if again we are decided on another church but still not available, maybe it was not meant for us.

Again we've searched for the churches in Makati and there came St. Agustin Chapel inside Dasmarinas Village. The office is again close to we look around and check out how the church looks like inside.

After looking around the place and took some photos, we found out that this church do not accept weddings. The chapel is for Colegio San Agustin students only... L

Here are some photos we took.
