Our Official Wedding Photographer and Videographer

When we were looking for our photo and video supplier,  we asked suggestions from Cathy.  She gave us Marco of Black Tie Project,  Anthony Co, Robert Ortega and Jervy Santiago for photo. For the videograper, we have Marvin Barbarona, IGS Cinema, Derek Yee, Christian Andaya and Kris Matanguihan. She suggested to have our photo and video separately. Meaning we will also have separate payments for these two suppliers and will double the budget unlike if we we'll get supplier as one, we'll get it at a much lower price. Mas tipid in short!

Cathy explained that if we'll have it in one supplier, there is a possibility that other may not be that good. For example, photos are good but the video is not or vice versa. While habing it separately,  both suppliers are in their expertise and will be sure that end product will be good. Nino however agreed to her because he said he also noticed that during Jet's wedding.  The SDE is average and the prenup for him, not okay so we decided to invest in our photo and video.

We reviewed all the suppliers she gave us and among the list, we ended up choosing Eugene Martinez as our Photographer and Derek Yee got the video. When I saw artwork of these two, I admired them for having those talents in capturing emotions and how they presented it. Though their rates are quite high,  Nino and I agreed to it kasi yun lang matitira samin after the wedding. The rest are for the one day event only (not to include the wedding ring ha).

Below are the rates of Eugene Martinez. We chose the De Luxe Package. We didn't get a package with frame because according to Cathy, hindi daw maganda yung frame ni Eugene.  Later on we just realized that we should have it because that will serve as our souvenir.  Anyway, we can add naman if we're decided na and maybe after we've met Eugene personally.

Chosen Caterer

Choosing a caterer for our wedding is one of the hard yet fun in the wedding preps. Why? Because as they say, the food should taste good dahil ito daw ang matatandaan ng mga guests. It's fun naman kasi you'll get the chance to eat with any caterers you want for free during the food tasting. You can try all the caterers you want.

Center Table Catering is one of our choice since we've already tried their food during Jet's wedding and we both like the food. Not just for its taste but the variety they served during the wedding are quite more than others offer.

Even though we know how their food tastes, we still attended their food tasting last August 3 at the Fort tent. We were assisted by Ruby, I'm not sure if she is also Jet's coordinator in Center Table. Most of the food they serve were okay but sadly, I forgot to take photos.

We asked Ruby if we could still attend their food tasting whenever they will have a schedule because we want to try other dishes that wasn't there during the food tasting.  Ruby said that it's okay but the food we'll have would be the same because those are the most common and best seller for weddings. She then informed us that we'll have naman daw our final food tasting where we could choose our preferred dish.

So there it goes! We will have Center Table Catering Inc. for our wedding!

Our Wedding Motif

When Niño asked me what will be our motif for the wedding, I said I want it blue. He agreed on it because we both like blue. When I browse some wedding pictures with blue motif, I found it common that’s why instead of mixing it with other colors; I just made it “shades of blue” because I also want the powder blue. Again, Niño agreed on it.

Here are my bridesmaids as I picture them out:
