Catholic Engaged Encounter(CEE) Seminar

As the church required us to have a seminar on the listed workshop, we chose CEE because we thought that is is somewhere in Katipunan. Just to find out that it will be held in Marikina.

Our schedule was July 27-28, 2013(Saturday and Sunday) a live out seminar, meaning, its not an overnight stay. We will go home at 9:00pm and come back the following day at 7:30 and will start at 8:00AM.

The speakers are couples from CEE and the priest (foreigner priest..nose bleed ata kami dito...:(  ). They shared their own experiences and thoughts about the topics. We also have on our group, foreigner from Singapore and the other is I'm not sure if also from Singapore or Korea.

The speakers are good, i just wonder why they are reading the whole seminar. They read their own stories, they have their leaflets and from there, they read their stories. At the seminar they gave us time to ask ourselves, as couple and share our thoughts and plans.

Overall its a good weekend for us because we were able to share our plans, ideas and everything about ourselves. I like how they gave us time to talked to each other about the topics being discussed during the seminar and share it with our partners.

The funny thing for me is that, people from that group keeps on talking in English even we are on a break or having our lunch or dinner (nose bleed tuloy ako and i let Niño do the talking..^-^ )

Upgraded Wedding Coordinator

For our wedding coordinator, we got Events Embassy Weddings & Debut since Cathy booked the Church for us and they are Nino's sister coordinator during her wedding. We initially got them as On-the-day but upgraded to Partial Coordinator because we asked her suggestions and feedback on our eyed suppliers.

When we are kinda decided on our videographer, we asked her how much will be the rate of our preferred videographer if we will booked them through her, the rate is lower than 5,000 compared to us booking with the videographer directly. Though we will have an additional for the upgrade service for Cathy,  we used the discount we got from booking the videographer through her as budget for upgradingto our ccoordinator.

Looking for our Hotel Preps

For our Hotel, since we availed the wedding package at Blue Leaf, we can choose on their inclusive hotel whether in Fraser Place of Manila Peninsula. Actually, I’m already decided that we will choose Manila Pen because of its majestic structure that is suitable for the wedding. However, Jet and Niño suggested that we should still see other hotels.

We visited hotels in Makati and checked out their bridal suits and other rooms as well.
