Food Tasting - Hizon's Catering

It's now time for us to choose which caterer to choose among the accredited of Blue Leaf. Hizon's Catering is well known when it comes to catering services. By the way, this is our second food tasting because the first one is with Center Table, the caterer of Niño's sister Jet. 

When we entered in the Pearl Hall at One Esplanade for our food tasting together with Jet and Mike, we were amazed because of the number of couples inside the hall.Our assigned AE talked to us and discussed about their rates and packages. Jet on the other hand was interrupted us because she saw that there are only few foods left and she said to our AE "Pwedeng kumain muna sila kasi baka maubos na ung food kasi kaya nga sila nandito para matikman ung food" Jet is kinda irritated at that time 'cause she said that the AE can discussed the rates thing after the food tasting  kasi nga daw madalas nauubusan ng food. So there, we ate first and as Jet said, nabusan nga kami ng food.The food that we were able to taste are the main course, the chicken bbq (i guess).As in super konte nalang yung natry naming food.

This is what i have observed during our food tasting. The set up is simple,except for the glass chair that they have.That is also the reason why i consider Hizon for our caterer. I really thought that we will get them because the food are okay but as to quantity, Center Table offer more variety of foods compare to them.They also have good set up compared to Hizon. I think i want to have another food tasting with Hizon since i was not able to taste their food much.

Food Tasting - Josiah's Catering

Another food tasting is from Josiah's Catering. When we entered the Pearl Hall (again) in One Esplanade, the ambiance is so cozy with the background music perfectly matched with their set up,dim light and all. We were a bit shy 'cause there are few tables and couples doing the food tasting. We were assisted by our AE and let us first taste their food. 

When we were eating, i asked Niño if he liked the food.. ako ksi i don't. It's like everything has a common taste (like dahon) in it. We didn't like the food in short.The set up however is good and the food presentation.Yun lang d talaga namin like ang food.

When we were asked by Jet and Mike what was our food tasting,when we said with Josiah's,they smiled and said  "Ahh yung lasang lupa" we thought that we're not sosyal lang kaya ganun but when we heard them,hindi naman pala din okay sa kanila. Maybe both don't like the taste of their foods.

So there, we told our AE that since we haven't tried other caterer, we will try another. I just realized it lately that i was too vocal to them saying that we will look for another caterer..:).
